On May 15, 2024, the School of Computer and Electronic Information organized the final year students to collectively watch a lecture on the theme of "Chinese Civilization and Chinese National Community" in the 214 Lecture Hall of the School.

The lecture was given by Dr. Wu Zhang, a doctor of philosophy from Peking University, who mainly introduced the characteristics of Chinese civilization, the development of the Chinese nation, etc. The lecture aimed to promote General Secretary Jinping Xi's important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic work into teaching materials, classrooms and minds, to forge a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation, and to enhance students' identification with the great motherland, the Chinese nation, Chinese culture, the Communist Party of China (CPC), and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
